Mr. Dewayne “Weiner” Hutson, age 61 of Sparta, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024.
Dewayne was born December 2, 1962 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late A.J. and Susie Ann Seals Hutson. He was a heavy equipment operator and had a long career at Rogers Group and most recently at Middle Tennessee Limestone. He loved working and putting in 80-90 hour work weeks suited him fine. When he did have time off, he enjoyed going to auctions and trading around.
Survivors include his brother Charles Hutson of Sparta
Sisters: Delores Hutson of Baxter, Shirley Hutson of Spencer, June (Greg) McNeely of Texas and Tammy Hutson of Crossville
Nephew: Arthur Hutson of Spencer
Special friends: Karen Keen and Mark Mercure, Caleb Keen and Libby Johnson, Candace and Matt Norris, Seth Keen and Cassidy Qualls, Ryan Norris, Riley Norris and Jagger Keen
ARRANGEMENTS:
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Wednesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Thomas McCulley will officiate.
Caleb Keen, Seth Keen, Mark Mecure, Scotty Childress, Wayne Wilson and Arthur Hutson will serve as pallbearers. Willie Cason is an honorary pallbearer.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
