Mack Alan Willhite, age 62, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Willhite was born on July 21, 1963, to the late William Eugene Willhite and Amy “Susie” Howard Willhite. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.
Mack was a dedicated farmer who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including fishing and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He faithfully served as an elder at Findlay church of Christ, where he was a respected and cherished member of the congregation. In his spare time, Mack enjoyed watching westerns, cheering on UT football, and spoiling his grandbabies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Willhite, along with several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jan Willhite; his children, Danielle Barnes (Justin), Janielle Allen (David), and Coady Willhite (Megan); and his cherished grandchildren, Stella, Miles, and Jay. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
Mack will be remembered for his strong faith, his love for his family, and the kindness he showed to everyone who knew him.
ARRANGEMENTS:
Visitation will be held at Findlay church of Christ in Sparta, Tennessee, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Saylors Cemetery.
