Mr. Thomas Thurman Price, Sr., better known as Thurman, age 91 of the Macedonia community of White County, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Thurman was born March 4, 1933 in White County to the late Buchanan H. “Buck” and Frances Flossie Finley Price. He was a farmer and longtime White County School Bus driver. He was an active member of his community and his church, Macedonia the Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of 45 years and 19 days, Sarah Jane Hasting Price; daughter Eva Claudine Price Guilbault; son Thomas Thurman “Tommy” Price, Jr.; three sisters and a brother also precede him in death.
Survivors include extended family, friends, neighbors and church family.
ARRANGEMENTS:
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, May 31, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Jeff Howard will officiate.
